30,000+ season tickets sold

Would it really drop that much over a fiver?
100% if SAFC sent an email to all 15k asking for them to pay £5 via the link provided to secure their place on a waiting list for next season the uptake will wont be anywhere near 15k.

when it comes to people putting hands in their pockets no matter how small the fee...some suddenly don't want a ticket anymore.

I organsised a stag doo to liverpool once and had 56 names on the list of people wanting to go....asked for £10 deposit each ....that list went from 56 to 26

Many would want to know where sitting first I imagine

15,000 on the waiting list is more than I expected.

We could probably announce an East Stand Extension based on that kind of data.
No we can't because most of them people will drop us as soon as things don't go so well. Stadium for now is as big as it needs to be. We don't want a soulless stadium like the Etihad despite their success.

There are some real tight arses around :)

its a waiting list you cant just pick and choose your perfect seat, if a seat becomes available in the north stand then you either take it or go to the back of the queue IMO
Know what mean but depends how club do it . On the normal match tickets the stadium map shows with seats available in red , then it’s a scramble for people to buy matchday tickets and the red seats quickly become less.
If they do it like that then people do get to choose, if they are bothered that is
In the same way they sell season tickets in the first place
