"Hope you had a good Easter Cy!" greeted me as I returned to work after the Bank Holiday weekend this morning. Having regaled the tearoom with tales of my fence painting exploits, it was suggested by one wag that it would perhaps have been a better option to have watched said fence paint drying than boro play football which I thought was a tad harsh but made me smile nonetheless.

My Middlesbrough supporting colleagues are still annoyed at the Millwall game. 2 wins in 8 games when it was all in their hands is embarrassing so says Tearoom Expert who wishes they weren't on TV so much for away games so he doesnโ€™t have to sit and watch them waste opportunity after opportunity.

This team are in his words useless (or joint 2nd in the Championship table depending on one's own personal perspective) while the general consensus was that it was two points dropped against Swansea yesterday; awful mistakes for no reason cost them again. Sadly TE reckons Ipswich will be 6 clear WHEN they win their games in hand. Boro play relegation threatened Portsmouth at the Riverside on Saturday and the feeling is it will just be another time wasting exercise and a carbon copy of every other home game recently ๐Ÿ™ƒ

The Leeds United fan from Skelton-in-Cleveland is a happy chappy this morning and on the hunt for Wembley ticketsโ€ฆ. He thought they had thrown it away. He is by his own admission "Going to be checking the website a lot today"!!

Roll on five o'clock

Afternoon Cy, I'm glad you're not one of the WFH workers, otherwise we would never hear the Tales from the Tea Room.

PS. I never worked from home (thankfully).
