..and this is not uncommon with many players. United did this with Sancho when he had a loan stint with Dortmund.

Can Bilbao afford even the reduced wages he would require? Hope the question has been at least asked from our end

Been one of their better players the last few years, but thats partly because of the change in approach Man United have had. Always been a good defender, just not when they wanted to play out from the back or play with a high line

Incapable of concentrating and doing his actual job of defending but scores a header every now and then so it's alright seemingly.

And yet with him in the side they have a 55% win rate this season compared to 38% without him.
