Tommy Conway - Mutants

Just watched Boro game. I know he scored a penalty but he’s the very definition of a little plodder. Got no quality at all about him.

If Boro do manage to sneak up they need a full new starting 11.

Didn’t they pay £6m for a young striker from Man City too?
Aye, very expensive mind.

My brother in law is happy. Mutants just signed an incredible young talent. A 22 year old Jamie Vardy type, power, pace and goals. I tip them for a top two berth.

This went well.

Ends up with him coming off the pitch crying tonight after missing chance after chance in the first leg, as Boro crash out of the playoffs.

The OP last seen on 22nd March 2026. I wonder what happened that day?

I didn't like him at first, but he''s grown on me. Didn't work for him or Boro last night, but how long in that match was he carrying that injury.

I think he is a good top half championship player. On a par in some ways to Tommy Watson. I doubt either would be useful in the prem.

If only he scored the chances he miss'es.. Sad for Boro mind. They should have had it wrapped up in the first game. (See Conway)

This. He's one of those players that may end up playing his part in a promotion winning side, but ultimately won't be given a chance in the premier league and will end up loaned back down to a championship play off chasing team

He's 3 years older than Watson.

I'm still confident that Watson can be a good Premiership player, but he really does need a good loan next season to kick on.
