RW and LB will be priorities to address in the summer.

Shame Cirkin isn’t likely to sign now, but LB was always going to be a position that we needed someone coming in for in the summer as competition/cover for Reinildo.

One thing in his favour is being homegrown so if his injuries were sorted a new deal could still be smart business.
Overall this season we’re only behind Spurs for games missed due to injury though, so I expect a clear out of the more injury prone lads. Huggins, Alese, Seelt and Cirkin will probably all go. In an alternate reality that could be a premier league back four.
Aye if we spaff one of our few remaining foreign player slots on left back cover, it’ll be one of the daftest decisions the club has made in recent years. Personally I’d try to sign him back up even with the injury concerns. Homegrown and no transfer costs is very appealing. We need to be careful with our money going forward.

I'm a big fan of Cirkin, always have been, but the above doesn't make good reading.

It's certainly not ideal if your LB cover is likely to be unavailable when he's needed.......to cover!

I'd like him to stay but suspect the club have rightly offered a deal relative to the amount of games he has missed (and is likely to continue to miss via injury) and he'll take a deal elsewhere.

He's one of those players I feel could be a top quality Premier League player if he could stay fit enough to play consistently.
