Considering the mags had their pants pulled right down and a pineapple inserted right up their hoop.
Also Liverpool with the 300 mil spent on 3 that haven’t actually set the world on fire.
What should we be looking to spend and where?
I reckon we need a flat out striker and a right back also a midfielder who can play 8 or 10.
Sign Gertrude permanently and don’t sell our besties. If Man U, Chelsea etc come calling have their eyes out.

Suspect there'll be one big sale, perhaps Roefs is the most likely at this point.

I'd also predict a spend of around £100m-£120m ish.

I'd definitely like to see us sign Geertruida permanently but I can't see it happening. He has been underused here this season and will want to go somewhere he will play every week. Disappointing, as he offers PL quality in 3 positions for what would be a relatively small fee, but I couldn't blame him really.

We'd absolutely get £40m for Roefs.
 
Don’t really care how much we spend tbh. More the areas we need to address. CM is a MUST. CB and LB come pretty closely behind. Right winger and another versatile forward.

I'd guess we'll spend more than we bring in, in terms of transfer fees. But it'll be players in the same price range as last summer, we'll ultimately be buying players who we think will be worth more in the future.
 
Dunno. We obviously need to strengthen the squad, but personally I’d love us to push the boat out for a £60m winger who’s really next level and can be our talisman to kick on.

Spend another £80m or so on bringing in a striker, a midfielder who can play Xhaka’s role, a full back and a centre back at £20m each. Mostly young with sell on value. I’m sure there’ll be a bargain or two available also.

I’d expect one or two to leave for very good fees, so a spend of £140m with maybe £50-60m coming in.

Whether that’s minutes or games we need to avoid them types.
 
Will try to get as much as can for fringe players Isidor Adingra etc. 1 or 2 sales may surprise upset a few people.
Irrespective of a Roefs sale we need a keeper Elborg isn't ready and needs games.
Suspect 1 will be sold maybe Roefs, Sadiki Talbi but would have to be good money
I would be absolutely astounded if Gertruida signed permanently if he has a choice in the matter, he will get 1st team football elsewhere easily enough.

Not many sellable among our fringe players?
Chan and Cirks leaving for nowt.
Patto won't fetch much, although if millwall gan up they will have some wedge.
Lukey won't fetch much either.
