Trippier To Bayern Munich?

This. He'll just go through the motions for the rest of the summer, he'll get plenty of stick from the Mags, drop a few more clangers then he'll be sold in the summer for about £10 million.
Probably only got a year or 2 left in him. That’s a lot of money for a 34 year old full back, who’ll also be on a sizeable wage. Should have cashed in when they had the chance.

Be doing them a favour he’s even rank recently
He was a great signing at the start and deserved England call ups. Recently he’s been terrible, and could easily be at fault for a lot of goals conceded.
Be good to get rid of him.

Wonder what their plan is moving forward. Seems they’ve come a little stuck with finances.

Never works well trying to keep a player that will want to leave
Depends how seriously they want to go, if it’s just a case of them getting Evie head turned by a bid it’s not really a problem.

Not to mention the fact just letting a play leave because they want to can be terrible for a team, like when Grabban was allowed to go back to Bournemouth half way through the season

Am I missing something?? He has been a decent signing for them for the least 4.5 years, but come on this outpouring of tributes to him is a bit weird....it is like the reincarnation of Pele, Maradona and Bobby Moore!

"He was the first one to believe in the project, don't ever let that be forgotten"

Aye definitely had nowt to do with the fact that they were offering him double the wages that any other club would ever offer him.

More importantly, his missus was desperate to move to the North of England. He then cheated on her (allegedly).

Completely 'shot his bolt' as Clough and Taylor would have identified at the start of last season, never mind this one fgs.

You're all shit bags man.

Tripps gave north east football some class times.

Personally that shot of him with a face like a smacked arse sitting on the bench (his most effective position on the football pitch) at the end of the "6 pointer" derby was worth the transfer fee alone.
