Rudoni

He's full of shite that King. He said we had replaced our full starting 11 from the Championship season. Last time I checked 4 of our starting 11 v West Ham were from last season.
I would say Hume, Ballard, Cirkin, O'Nien, Isidor, Mayenda, Rigg, Mundle and Le Fee are still in the picture from last season.

Cirkin, Mundle and O'Nien were not available for the first 3 or 4 months of this season.

Tuchel is a world class coach. You don't sack him to appoint baldy Frank.
Tuchel is a world class manager, but he has only been hired to win the World Cup - he's effectively a ringer, or a hired gun.

Once he doesn't, wouldn't shock me to see England move on and Lampard would certainly be one of the contenders, as would Howe.

Fwiw I don't think Lampard is as bad as many people make him out to be - he's flawed but I think he's a decent manager, and seems to be desperate to learn from his mistakes.

I'd also expect he'd be quite pragmatic in the PL, not a Russel Martin figure

I think we'll go down with one of the lowest points tally's and our owner will be pretty honest about it. I'd imagine most of our fans would be content with it.
I genuinely have no idea why people would be content with that

What’s the point of the football club in that case? Go down and build for what? To go down again?
It’s almost impossible to build a team for the PL in the championship, you have to be ruthless when you get your chance - your chance is now

Jobe who has had about 1000 minutes this season, scored 0, assisted 1, got 1 red card and is still adapting. That Jobe.

Is that the same one you were thinking of?
Must be a different Jobe to the 20 year old who has made 41 appearances since he joined totaling over 2000 minutes, scoring 1 goal and assisting 4. The Jobe who has made 7 starts in the champions League and came off the bench 3 times, and who also captains the England under 21s? Aye a similar level to a Championship 24 year old that like.

Can’t wait to annihilate those cheating kernts next season home and away.
He hinted at it, talking about how we spent a lot of money and they wouldn’t do it that way they’d do it the Coventry way wtf that means 🤷‍♂️
Spend nowt and achieve fuck all ever. That’s the Coventry way.

We bought a new team
Even with this new team, everyone tipped us to go down.

Maybe a few have forgotten, but we’ve got a few of last seasons promotion squad all doing just fine in the mighty premier league.

Who’s to say this rudoni lad won’t do the same.
Seems a promising enough player to me.

"Obviously Sunderland, I guess, changed the whole first XI, which for me is a little bit radical, obviously they're staying up but their identity of who got them there has been somewhat lost"
Which is absolutely bollocks, the theres three main stays that played the biggest parts in the playoffs still are some of the first choice starting eleven. With many others in and around the squad. If they come up and don’t get some quality and top flight experience in that eleven they’ll drop right back down.

If he has a bad world cup, him and the FA will want out of it.

I'm not saying he goes, but it isn't a huge stretch to think he will wanna walk if he has a shit WC, or the FA will wanna bin him off.

We tried to sign Rudoni when he played for Wimbledon. He wanted to stay down South. This is when we were in league 1.

Forget Rudoni, do Sunderland fans think Jobe is actually that good?

And I'm glad he is. He will, and should, make it clear that the aim is having a novelty season in the sun building for the future.

We do not want to do what Luton did.
You need to get up and within reason try to stay up as the ladder is starting to get pulled up. With all due respect to Luton, Luton isn’t Coventry yous have a big fanbase and a much nicer stadium etc. On paper it looks like we’ve spent a fortune but having had such a small outlay to get up then selling jobe and Watson we’ve not put the club in danger. I guess it depends on how yous are run now and what room yous will have. We are pretty unique in modern promoted sides as we came up with huge room, decent incomes and having sold a few players for very good fees to what was paid for them.

Most fans are still grateful of being able to watch the club in Coventry rather than Birmingham. There's a lot of trauma about the ownership and financial issues and we don't want to go through that again.

Would make a change. When did Sunderland last do the double over Coventry in the league? 😉

Yeah we did. Didn't he sign for Huddersfield instead? Good player with masses of potential in my opinion. I'd have him here in a heartbeat.
Coz all the big clubs have been chasing him....average player and we are a long way from signing Championship standard. Wait and see who comes in the summer. You won't worry about Rude boy.
