Millwall

He’s a good manager is Neil. The one thing that often lets him down is his recruitment. He signed a load of shite when he was at Norwich and then repeated it at Stoke.

It’s why I was so shocked at his reluctance to work under a Sporting Director here. Give him a decent set of players to work with and he generally does well.

Was there chew with them at old Trafford semi final I was working abroad
No..i never heard of any..you couldn't hardly get served in any of the pubs so there wasn't loads of drink fuelled fans mixing together..we went in some hotel and got served at the bar in there..there was loads of Millwall in and they were no bother..had a bit crack with them and shook hands when we left.

Was nice to hear about it. Where were you?

Was bars not full of Sunderland

Someone did a “pick your dark horse for promotion” thread before the season started.
I went with Millwall, they had a strong finish but just missed out the previous year. Regardless of what you think about Alex Neil he’s a good manager. It would be a good change to see them in the Premier League, especially if West Ham or Spurs swap places with them.

Like i say you couldn't get in anywhere round the ground..we we walking down by the canals getting further and further away from the ground..we gave up and went in this hotel bar..few Sunderland in..loads of Millwall..good crack..we ended up going in the ground early..big ice cold cans of Budweiser for £3!!

The nightclub attached to Britannia hotel in Didsbury got a bit lively. Think it was called Fridays. Then it properly went off in the residents bar. Barman was a mag and ended up with a black eye but said was one of best nights he’d had there. Got a bit lively around Lou Macaris chip shop before the match as well.

Anyone else not aggrieved with Neil like the majority on here?

Did a cracking job for us and made for one of the best days of my life. Went for another job that paid more.
