Sunderland fan in the home end?

We went in the Barnsley end in 2007 when we were on that storming run in under Keane. We were sussed when Leadbitter scored and had to leave along with loads of other Sunderland fans. We had to skulk about outside until the gates opened at the Sunderland end, loads of us piled in and saw Connolly score the winner!

Also went in the Preston end for the last game of the season when we made the playoffs under Mowbray, that went without incident.

If you've never done it and have wondered how our end comes across in the rest of the ground, on both those days our supporters looked and sounded superb
Ructions before, during and after that day. We were in the away lend tho.

Level 7 around the corner section from us. Seemed to take a fair few punches on the way down whilst getting escorted out by police.

About 5/10 mins after their goal
I won two tickets for the derby from a throw away pound on a blind card of 130 in the club, great result! However, they were seats in the ‘visitors’ platinum club and the thought of me going there to watch us beating them 1-2 and not celebrate just wouldn’t have worked and it would have ended in carnage!! Sold to me mate, mag, for him and his son to go. Got more than a quid for them and watched our glorious reign continue while bating the fkrs when we scored in the club! Hahaha, their fkn faces man🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Let’s remember he was attacked he didn’t start it he sat in the mags end to watch the match not start a fight.

To be fair the mags are lucky he didn’t start or he would have cleared the end out himself.
After our ‘hero’s’ walked thru the fkrs 9 deep going to the ground, am surprised he got punched at all!!! Fkn horses don’t like this 🤭

Done it loads of times when couldn't get tickets for away ends, Arsenal x2, Spurs, Man U x 3, Liverpool x 2, Southampton, Barnsley, Millwall, Chelsea, Peterborough, Oxford, Leicester, Charlton, Wimbledon, Burton - only one I had to leave early from was Spurs, was the last game of the season when Makin scored, had a really nasty edge , was surrounded by Spurs lads who were looking for bother and had my Mrs with me and she felt uncomfortable so left at half time.

Couldn't and wouldn't do it at the Landfill though

I’ve been in with home supporters many times over the years. Wolves a few times, Bradford, palace, Leeds, boro, Charlton all spring to mind. Was difficult keeping quiet at wolves with late goals. At Bradford I was with 3 mates who were Bradford fans. We were 4 up in 16 minutes i seem to remember. Bradford fans were congratulating me as they left after about 20 minutes as they sussed me but as I didn’t celebrate at all they were fine with it. Spurs as well but that was with pools. At Charlton there was loads of us in their end so i moved across to the corner where out fans were after celebrating. It was after they moved back to the valley but it was still only half built.

I was in the stand down the touchline that day and can remember lads jumping out of the opposite side into the away end, can't remember if that was the first or second goal though.

Aye those lads were just along from us. We didn't think of that, or were too slow off the mark!

Yep on the corner Park Lane and the High Road, they came out of a pub showering bottles on a load of scarfers, they didn't like it when the lads turned up.

When makin scored a bairn (maybe 7 or 8) stood up and cheered about 10 rows in front of us and his dad was punched from all sides when he was being taken out, the bloke next to me turned to me and said why is there never an away fan next to me 😂, it was at that point the Mrs started to get v nervous

First time in with the home fans was at SJP in the Gallowgate paddocks inthe play off semi in 90. Realised pretty quickly it was a huge mistake and had to actively pretend to be a mag.

Since then done a few without any chew, mainly because we took over. Bolton, Preston, Bury, Swindon to name a few.

Ive been in plenty over the years. West Ham was the only one, where I got a bit of hassle on one occasion.

Last home end or side as it was that day was at Wimbledon when they played a Kingsmeadow. Loads of us were in there that day. I still get e-mails from Wimbledon advertising tickets.

Leeds in the naughties, forrest manu and man city a few time, notts county as a 14 year old and stoke at the victoria. Berwick was scary
