The SMB 2026 Holiday Thread


Did Nashville & NY last month so that means the Summer will be a bit more low key and just going to London for a couple of nights and then hop on the Eurostar to Brussels for a few more - likely spend a day/night in Antwerp while there.

October gannin to Boston and then down to Weshy DC & Baltimore.....if we're still allowed into the US by then!

I didn't know Stonethwaite campsite was back open. Ruined by the Instagram crowd a while back, I walked through after a weekend a while back and it looked like a tornado had whipped through. Smashed tents, rubbish all over and the ground pock marked with numerous fire damaged areas.

Just re-opened and it's bookings only with assigned pitches etc... totally different now mate

Went to Egypt on February with the family
Marjorca in June with the lads
Portugal in late July.

Everything was planned perfectly around matches and they went & changed Fulham to the Sunday. Worse matches to miss I suppose.
 
Back from 6 weeks in NZ with Family Feb 4th.
Jordan cancelled (again) in March
India in a 3 weeks but transferring thru Dubai ffs.
Egypt (aye pick my times) June.
Caribbean repos cruise Nov
Hopefully NZ again end of Year.

Lakes caravan in nicer weather and maybe late deals to replace those lost/postponed

Another later in the year. Our lass fancies Orlando but I'm a bit nervous going back over there the way everything is.

Just had a look on the website and see it has changed a bit. Used to be an old fellow would come around in the morning to collect the fees, hell on 1 year, as some piss head had the bright idea to do it before the old fellow turned up. He just knocked on the tents and a hand would come out with a tenner and off he trotted. He and all his gear got a good wash in the river when the real chap came around.
 
Last day in the Dominican Republic today after being away since the derby.
Magaluf for a stag in June.
Hopefully get something else booked for September.
 
Koln for a long weekend and South Korea for 10 days in May, 6 days in Germany at Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg in July. Then doing 4 months backpacking through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines then Australia August - December.
