Artemis 2 Going back to the moon.

Incredible. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into getting to that point.

Celestial navigation is f***ing mental like.

On earth, we use GPS and have loads of satellites in low earth orbit to tell us where we are. Lat & long given relative to the equator and Greenwich respectively. None of that in outer space.

NASA needs to take some production tips from SpaceX - no drone shots or anything.

it's the on boards that they are missing. SpaceX have multiple cameras from the booster and ship by this point. We had a brief second of an onboard so they have it, they just never show it for some reason.

Did you see the fuel rockets come back down well I think thats what they were 🚀

Boosters aye. Extra oomph to get it off the ground, that sized rocket just completely used up and surplus to requirement. The fact SpaceX are close to having the full thing in a single rocket, that can then land itself to be reused, is f***ing mental.

they are solid rocket boosters, i think they have basic parachutes, to bring them down to be picked up from the ocean, at least some shuttles did. It's not like falcon heavy side boosters that come back to the pad.

They did a live broadcast in 1969 from Apollo 13, mental that we can't have some VR that makes us feel we're there 55 years later.
