Eddie Howe

Howe is a double edged sword. He has got results on the pitch until this season (when it really matters, obviously ) but he has not unearthed anyone decent for two years now (Hall doesn't count as they loaned him first in 23/24). Given he is very good at shelling out the money then NUFC really can't really afford another repeat of last summer.

Howe himself must also wonder if he'll want to stay as he must know himself he needs a proven quality CF and CM (presuming Tonali is off). Neither of those will be cheap and if they don't have CL football then I'm not sure how much budget he'll have to spend on those...
I’d argue that since the takeover their recruitment has been poor

I think Eddie Howe has done a decent job for them and is a decent representative of their club. It would be typical of them to replace him with someone who has a “bigger” personality who, after a brief nauseating honeymoon period, will turn out to be a complete disaster.

I hope they do that.

The backing of the board = start packing your bags

Newcastle United sold both their St James’ Park home and adjacent land to another company owned by the club’s shareholders last season, enabling them to book their first profit since coming under the majority ownership of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) in October 2021.
That’s how you end up homeless like Coventry. Villa did the same dodgy thing.

For all her faults, Staveley seemed a shrewd operator and I think her lofty ambitions for the Mags were genuine.

Since she's left, the owners seem happy to just tick along, like a slightly improved Mike Ashley.
Spot-on, she talked about winning things but now this fella after waffling on about “Project 2030” is now saying they are aiming to be sustainable.

Won’t go down well.

The deluded kernts think they are in with a shout of Xabi Alonso. Did really well at RM where the pressure is intense unlike at B.Leverkusen.😳
