Aye you'd have thought it would have been reported in the local media at the time, and had pretty much dismissed it as bullshit because of that, but there does seem to have been quite a bit going on with him over the last 12 months and as you said before, the fact that he himself had alluded to stinking the place out is pretty telling.

..Wayne Rooney was world class though and was available for selection nigh on every week.

It's not about being a saint or being perfect you donut it's about professional standards at the club. He's a professional footballer with a golden opportunity, this is not the sort of behaviour we should want from our footballers it's also a bad example for the younger prospects at the club. Players like 09 and Xhaka are the examples we want for our club.

Hes no Rooney lets be honest . We've got a tight knit dedicated squad , this kind of suggests hes an outlier in that and his protracted abscences may or may not be down to more than injury.
My gut feeling is he's been done here since his most recent abscence. Hope the kids alright and he gets his head in the game sooner rather than later or he'll end up playing southern conference .
