MotoGP 2026


Seems pretty clear now that Marc's hopes of retaining the championship are in big trouble.

Starting to look as though it's going to be an all-Aprilia title fight but can't help thinking that the 19 sprint points that Bez has already thrown away could come back to bite him as Martin gets more used to the bike.

I'm not so sure, I think once they return to Europe things will change. I also think if Marc is showing no signs of winning the title he may retire.

Not sure how they've managed to come up with the rule only applying to the pit exit and not entry :lol: Utter lunacy but not really surprising considering some of the shambolic decision making from race direction.

Alex has to be the big favourite for the main race tomorrow considering how much quicker he's been than everyone else in the dry all weekend and Bez seems determined to fuck up what will probably be his best chance at a title by making a mess of the sprints. 3 DNFs in 4 sprint races simply isn't good enough

How else are the Spanish mafia that runs MotoGP nowadays supposed to knock an Italian off the top. They changed the rules on rookies having at least one year in a satellite team to get him onto a Repsol Honda which had been the best bike on the grid for years with Yamaha only regularly competing with them after Honda pissed Rossi off.
 
Yet another crash for Marc and looked like he might be injured. Looking more and more likely that getting torpedoed by Bezzecchi in Indonesia last year has ended up being the 'one crash too many' for him, he hasn't looked comfortable on the bike at any stage this year.

Big one. He`s looked off all weekend though. There was an odd look about him as well as he walked off, the close up of him, he looked broken. Not injured as such but like he was thinking about this is the end

Missing the next 2 races at least. Given the amount of injuries he's had since 2020 and the fact that he proved to himself last year that he was still capable of winning another championship on the right bike he'd be mad not to be seriously contemplating his future. Certainly not as if he needs the money.

Marquez and Hamilton - two wonderful sportsmen who should seriously consider retirement.

That’s not how champions think, I get that.

But honestly for Hamilton in particular I feel the moment has gone.

For Marc, he has suffered so many injuries over the past few years I feel he should walk away.

I would hate to see him end up seriously and permanently injured.
