Now that the double’s done and we’re almost certainly safe, the re-focussed goal now has to be to finish above them. While it’s not necessary for us to do so in order to have had a brilliant season, it would be the absolute icing on the cake and would extinguish the last breaths of delusion left in our neighbours.

Also, if we finish above them there’s a good chance we’ll be knocking on the door of Europe, and by extension a good chance they won’t be.
 

50 points is only another 7 points from the final 7 games. Getting some players back will be great. We’ve got some tough games left all teams aside from Wolves, who’ve improved a lot in recent times, have something to play for. If we can rediscover scoring goals when our opponents sit deep and look to hit us on the break will be key to how we finish.

Interesting, so would you rather we finished 8th and them 7th, with both of us in Europe, or us 9th and them 10th, with neither?

The jobs pretty much finished for this season going off what Ghisolfi has said in interviews etc, the aim for this season has been achieved, unlikely they've set another aim by the end of this season for Regis.

Just a feeling really, it was slowling before a one off game, folks need time to get up to speed and dependent on the first one or two results, there may not be a great amount to play for.
