Legends Way - a stone for the forum?

I was wondering if there would be any interest in the forum all getting together to purchase one of the bigger stones on legends way to commemorate the members of this forum? I thought it would be good to get this place some sort of recognition at the SOL.

If 500 of us put a £1 in for example it would be the biggest one they do. Or 350 for the next size down etc. obviously if enough people fancied making it happen, everyone would have to agree on what badge to use, what text to put.

I’m up for this.

I purchased my own last night, in memory of my Dad. I think it’s a great idea from the club and there’s endless things for people to acknowledge when purchasing one.

  • Sharing geekiness at video games and space telescopes
There’s much much more but my memory isn’t too good I’m afraid and if you think I’m contributing to buying a stone for this foolish place then your dead right!

Done, great idea.

I’ve been on here, sometimes reading only and sometimes posting since 1997. so that much wasted time deserves a few quid to commemorate in stone
