Look North/Tyne Tees Coverage ***Europa League Special***

Couldn’t get over the fact that they didn’t even speak to 1 fan after match. Was just covered like any normal weekly Prem game.

But they DID manage to show the banner saying “Welcome to the Regions Capital, You’ve been gone for so long”. As kipper knickers giggled saying “ bit of friendly flag goading”

Boils my piss

I’ve been absolutely raging about the coverage of the racist abuse towards Geertruida and I’m continuing to get more wound up about it. As I said before, this is the first time a PL game has been paused under racism protocols, it should be national news at very least and the main story on local BBC news. Instead they elect to use flippant remarks and pass it off as part of a shit gag about goalkeeping.

Complaint submitted to the BBC, hopefully enough off us can force some action and we may actually see an apology during the week, not holding my breath though.

The racism was one of the top stories on the Sky News app yesterday. Not in a separate sports section, not in a side tab, it was literally right underneath the stories about what is going on in Iran and articles regarding Trump. It’s a big issue in the game as a whole.

It’s actually disgusting to be honest. The game is the biggest story within the region so far this year. This incident was DURING the game. The game needed to be stopped man. Only saw a clip on Twitter so couldn’t give a shit about the actual coverage of the match or how bias it is, but for this whole incident to be whittled down into a joke remark comparison about how Ramsdale played in goal is genuinely abhorrent.

Hope the pair of them get dragged to fuck for this. Especially that bellend Edwards. Should be embarrassed to call himself a journalist.

Well I hope this finally confirms to everyone on here what some have been saying for years about the local BBC NE sports reporting; it is institutionally biased against all things Sunderland. It's spearheaded by Thewlis and her odious little band of sycophants that have the audacity to call themselves journalists.
I hope the club do indeed lodge a formal complaint against BBC Look North for trivialising clear racial abuse against one of our players and demand an apology if not a resignation.

Complaint gone in
Unacceptable editorial content

Yet some like me were critised for paranoid or hyper sensitive

Couldn’t wait to rush it through
At one time local tv and radio had panels including the public that monitored quality and compliance
