Chris Rigg

he's technically excellent just doesn't seem to have developed physically yet and i do feel that hampers him at times. if he bulks up a bit and gains some strength feel it will do him the world of good. this will probably happen naturally though as you forget how young he still is
He was putting in the tackles yesterday and winning them.

I can’t get over how good he was, what a performance. He’s not a centre mid just yet but he will become a very good one.
There are some parallels with Le Fee in that he needs to figure out how to play against opponents that are physically stronger than him. Once that happens or he himself becomes stronger then you can see him moving into the middle.

I think for the remainder of this season we know our best midfield includes him on the right. Talbi left, Xhaka, Sadiki, Le Fee in middle.

As good as he was yesterday and I'm over the moon for him - Diarra still gets in our midfield for me.

He looks fitter and stronger. If you remember him down Brentford compared to yesterday looks like a different player. Probably had a growth spurt last few months. The talent was always there

I thought Diarra did quite well yesterday but on form over the last couple Rigg is definitely ahead of Diarra at present if it’s a straight choice.

I don’t think people wanted him gone… the majority thought he needed a loan to allow him to play every week to help his development. The last two games shows that perhaps was wrong and he can now play a big part in the remaining fixtures.
I am not on about people who wanted him loaned, but people genuinely felt he had reached his peak at 18. Because they have broken brains it appears.
