He wasn't fouled and it wasn't in his own 6 yard box. However he still just lay on the floor and didn't track back and stop the opposition attack that he'd started by giving the ball away.
 

Isn’t Diarra fasting for Ramadan (along with Xhaka and Talbi) - fasting will affect each individual’s performance to a different extent - maybe it is significantly affecting his performance levels. Ramadan ends Thursday this week. Hopefully he regains his form soon, whatever the reason.

I was thinking that recently tbh. Back in January we were all worried he might be off this summer to a top six club. Been anonymous for the last 2-3 months IMO.

Freak goal all round. Reminded me a bit of that game where alderete was squared up to someone in the replay of the ball hitting the bar, just a bit bizarre
 
After about 10 mins he was annoying me with his half arsed mentality, jogging about and not putting that bit intense pressute on. He pissed me off against Port Vale for having the same attitude. I get a feeling since we hit the 40 point mark there is a job done attitude but it isn’t job done till we are officially safe. If he plays like that on Sunday their midfield will have a field day. Joelinton will be his usual aggresive dirty self so Diarra needs to be on it.

This thing about job done, I’m not sure I buy it. Long shot now, but we’ve been in touching distance of Europe. Top half is still a distinct possibility if we win a few matches. We’ve had terrible injuries. That said, performances from the likes of Diarra haven’t exactly backed up my thoughts.

I’d love to reach europe but the injury list has fucked us mainly. Hopefully they all put in shifts and give us a good end of the season starting with a positive result on Sunday. Ppl wanting RLB out need to remember where everyone predicted us to finish. He has kept us solid all season, scored less than Burnley but conceded less than 3rd place Man Utd.
