To be fair, that could have been a gargantuan chicken. However, I’m not resident near Wimbledon Common, so can’t accurately vouch for the size of the local womble population.

Anyhoo, why not stick Great Uncle Bulgaria on the £10 note?

I actually would welcome a series of notes featuring much loved British children's characters. Weve had Paddington and Beatrix Potter coins, so why not a Womble £10 Thomas the tank engine on a £5, maybe dangermouse on a £20.

Obviously have more adult designs as well. But paying for a pint with a Womble banknote would be class
