Pessimistic for the fantasists but accurate for the realists. The bowling attack is a massive concern. Roach the norm for our overseas signing nowadays - veteran injury prone has been.
But let's live in fantasy land,Potts regains form, near veteran Raine continues to be Raine, Ex-England Woody re-invents himself as a fit,accurate,fast-medium bowler, Stokes plays a handful games and Hogg,Minto and Robinson develop and remain fit. Batting is undoubtedly powerful.

4th won’t go through under the new format

I'll have a pint of what you've been drinking.:D

1. County championship - 3rd
2. Top championship run scorer - Bedingham (No SA test matches, full season?)
3. Top championship wicket taker - Raine (I think he's the only bowler likely to play a full season, so if he plays as he usually does, should win this comfortably)
4. T20 Blast - Bottom 3 of our group and won't qualify.
5. One Day Cup - Beaten semi-finalists.

If you use the Ice Skating scoring methodology of discarding the highest and lowest marks, we don't appear to be a particularly optimistic bunch. An underwhelming period of recruitment perhaps.

I think Lees will be top run scorer, largely down to the fact he’ll probably have more opportunities to bat than anyone else and shouldn’t be affected by international interruptions. Plus, he’s been our most consistent performer for a number of years now and I feel he’ll thrive against most second division attacks.

CC - 4th
Top Bat - Lees
Top Bowler - Raine
Blast - usual either start the season strong then crumble or start awful then start getting results when it’s too late. Either way, finish 1 place short of progressing.
ODC - losing finalists
