F1 2026

Just need Ferrari to stay close until
June as I’m sure Merc lose this power advantage when they close this regulatory loophole.

We’ll have one hell of a title battle between the 4

Read something earlier about Ferrari planning on bringing an upgrade to Miami, but with the increased gap between Japan and there, they’re working harder to bring a further one - a “1.5 upgrade” apparently

I don't take pleasure in sticking the boot in. But it was a breath of fresh air seeing the leaders race wheel to wheel without incident. Not looking over your shoulder for a dive bomb, or getting shoved off the outside.

Chalk and cheese to dodgem driver Max. Instead we had proper drivers who respect each other and the sport.

It was three of the nicest blokes in F1 on the podium. It goes to show that to be successful, you don't need to be a twat like Verstappen.

I really enjoyed today’s race.

But let’s get McLaren back in the fight, equalise Mercedes compression malarkey and get an upgrade to the Ferrari and then have a fabulous 6 way fight for the title.

Hopefully it works. A rejuvenated LH with the car that suits him then we’ll see number 8

Its basically just Max who does it out of the top drivers. There's a few in the middle order too, but they're fighting for their careers every race.

Nice! I’ll have a bit of that thank you.

We’re camping in woodlands & one of the nights they’ve got a load of tribute acts in the big tent (foo’s & Fleetwood Mac amongst others), hope it’s not the same night!

Edit: looks like Alex James & the Brit pop classical stuff is on before Dickie. (Keeps people of a certain age entertained)

Exactly. You could add Norris, Piastri to that list and probably half a dozen more drivers that seem genuinely nice blokes.

Max other hand.....some might say he has some redeeming qualities off the track. But I've never warmed to him on it. Yes, he might be a bit quick but too reckless for me. Flat track bully who is getting his comeuppance.

Hope his and Redbulls demise continues.

I missed this at the time but David Croft completely unironically commentated for at least 30 seconds on lapped Sainz and Colapinto fighting for 9th and 10th on their cooldown lap before he cut himself off (or was cut off) for Russell's radio. When he came back he blamed the graphics not showing a chequered lag.. Amazing for someone so experienced that he has no racing IQ whatsoever.

In his speech when Antonelli took the chequered flag he said the last Italian to take pole was Fisichella in 2007 which the same race was won by another Kimi. The race he’s talking about was 2009. It’s amazing how he’s held that job for so long when he can’t get basic facts correct.

Not sure if this is a legit quote but that’s mad if Toto has said that 🤣

Five minutes at a works team and he takes the coin for Lawrence "in the Epstein files" Stroll. Just when he had almost started to seem slightly less unlikeable. Could open the door for Horner at Audi but I doubt he'd get a stake in the team like he wants
