Le Bris visibility shaken!

Thought it was an improvement on the fulham game for sure, we did ok 2nd half and we were unlucky that they scored from a rare attack in the second half. That said our attack is honking, i think it is possibly the worst of all teams in the premier.
I reckon it’s deffo the worst, and by some distance.

Out of interest did we score more before Brobby was in the team ? It’s great holding the ball up but it’s a bit useless when we don’t have the midfielders to benefit from it

Interview I saw was OK
Bbc I think
He touched on people being negative .
He said what I said yesterday if we'd got to this point with a slow but expected start and improved we'd be over the moon . The new squad and him as a manager are still growing and learning . All these set backs are lessons and blocks to build from

The fans who are turning on the players in the stadium I hope don’t have the audacity to cheer and celebrate if we finish the last few games with a flourish

As I mentioned previously, people were against us getting rid of the likes of Mowbray, Jack Ross etc. When he is rightly relieved of his duties, I trust the powers at be to get the next manager right. A manager who can get us to the next level. Le Bris is a gentleman who has taken us a far as he can. That’s not a criticism of him, but a change is needed for us to push on.

You know nowt, are an agitator and rely on the odds that managers don’t last long anyway to prove your point

He’s only as good as the players at his disposal man wtf are people on here we have had 2 premier league transfer windows ! The squad is wafer thin it’s a f***ing miracle we have stayed up tbf you don’t know how far he can’t take us until he’s given time !

We had a phenomenal start to the season, with few injuries and lots of games going our way on thin margins. The opposite is now true and we are falling down "back to the mean". Personally I prefer it this way around to the opposite ( especially given the role the positivity from fans has played). It feels dispiriting but anything above 17th is a bonus. It will take time to build a deep squad, especially up front. I do worry a little on recruitment, few of the younger signings have really shown for us (Sadiki and Roeffs aside), but hopefully some of them will kick on as they grow on experience and strength.
The one thing that will definitely f*** this up will be negative vibes from the crowd. The crowd has been part of the attraction to prospective signings but it could easily become the opposite, which will bring about relying on mercenaries and journey men like the back end of the Ellis Short era.

Not just a deep squad but one that doesn’t rely so heavily as this one does on Xhaka
We need players who will poke, prod, cajole, organise when he ( 35 next season ) misses a game or 2
The coaching team need to be ensuring we have plans A, B and C etc when things aren’t happening as they were intended. Right now we look and play the same every game

We won't get relegated but we're going to finish around the 16/17th place. While I would have taken that at the start of the season, I cant help but feel we've missed out a little. On what, I don't know.

I’ve been saying it for 2 seasons marra
Why?
Hume has been excellent both seasons .
Clearly made step up to Premier League .
Gone from a 250K player to being worth at least10M into days market.
From the Irish League to Premier League in what 4 or 5 sesons.
Captain of his country but for us he's shite?
Yeah right!

I don’t care where he’s come from what he cost or if he plays for the mighty northern Ireland I’ll judge him on current merit

Don't think he's got much authority over a lot of the new players in the squad. Cant help but think we have a discipline/attitude problem behind the scenes which is surfacing on the pitch now
You’ll defend the refs the way you do, but then leap to that conclusion about our manager

We were missing 4 of our best players yesterday. Roefs, Reinildo, Mukiele and Le Fee and another one of them went off injured in Ballard.

4 of our 5 wingers are also out injured. Traore, Angulo, Mundle and Ta Bi.

Xhaka and Brobbey are just returning from injuries too

We’re out of form and in the middle of an injury crisis, it’s a bit uncalled for saying it’s due to a lack of authority. The squad is decimated

Let’s just hope we get some of our better players back for next weekend
