Felt like the result was pretty much guaranteed from about 70 odd minutes so I’d argue there was no harm in just rolling the dice a bit. Cirkin should have been on earlier (and for Hume). Abdullahi should have been on the bench simply because Isidor was too unfit to play it seems. A late run of outright 4-4-2 might have given Brighton something else to think about. Let’s face it they’d sussed out the starters and played the closing stages largely in slippers. Not sure the obsession with throwing on players who more than likely aren't good enough.
We are still in the game at 1-0 down so he will have players on the pitch who he feels can get us back into the game.
Did his hi-vis vest get left behind?Just seen the post match interview and was struck by how visibly shaken Le Bris was. He looked scared and nervous like I haven't seen all season.
For the record I thought we were much better today. I thought we were ok the rough side of decisions today. I've still not seen a conclusive angle, but I'm certain their lad in front of the keeper is offside when they sliced the ball into the net, an he's the only reason our keeper didn't stop it! But that's a seperate point.
Le abroad must be feeling the heat now? Especially when he's witnessed how cut throat we are now.
That's why he should have the vest on.Can't say I'm picking that up, having just watched his interview there.
Nah, think he sort of disappears and reappears.
That's the spirit!!We're going to end up on less goals than the 96-97 relegation season.
It's a worry.That's the spirit!!
Hume was absolutely dogshite yesterday. So poor on the ball. Hopefully squad player at best next season. And completely avoidable. The pressure came from f***ing around at the back. Again.

Based on what exactly?Don't think he's got much authority over a lot of the new players in the squad. Cant help but think we have a discipline/attitude problem behind the scenes which is surfacing on the pitch now
My understanding is that if a player is off the back of the pitch he is deemed to be on the goal line for offside purposesOverall we weren’t too bad and actually looked to shoot/cross a bit more.
The goal was a horror show but a total fluke. Mis hits it and that’s probably the only way it was going in. Diarra being down would have stopped play 99 times out of a hundred and certainly affected the outcome. I thought Xhaka might have been playing them on but have seen one still shot angle where he’s not on the pitch so couldn’t be. I haven’t watched it back though.
Basically we should have defended better but it took a lot of unlikely things to actually concede and other wise we’d looked okay.
This place man, f***ing woeful shite.Visibility shaken![]()
A month ago I was expecting the Mags to be on their knees by now. Instead it is us on our knees. He ain’t the only one
There should be a balance between the two. Not trying to do it every single time.Hate that tactic. Seems to do nowt but invite pressure on. Did we do it as much at the start of the season and I’m wearing rose tinted specs, or does it seem to have increased lately at the same time as we have seemed to become a lot more negative and boring to watch? I’d far rather we just went more direct to Brobbey and get people running off him and see what happens. Lot more exciting if nowt else.
I’m putting it on Diatta for being a pretend injured player instead of doing his job.And completely avoidable. The pressure came from f***ing around at the back. Again.
