Xhaka not happy with the early leavers

Can I have a pop at them then? I’m an east stand season card holder and it totally pisses me off when the bastards start streaming out to the front and side of me so I can’t see what’s going on in the game. If they’ve got to leave so early, don’t fuckin come at all, and don’t spoil my enjoyment of the WHOLE match.
Yes you can marra, cos you pay for your ticket.

He gets paid to make it worth buying a ticket.

Big difference.

A familiar pattern. The team doesn't perform, the fans become apathetic, the players take a shot at the fans, the fans become emboldened etc.

We're still Sunderland.

Agree with this. I thought Le Bris understood that the best way to get the crowd engaged at the sol is to play high intensity and on the front foot from the off.

The crowd will accept standing off a side and playing like the away team if we’re up against Arsenal or Man City but it’s no surprise fans can’t get enthused playing like that against Fulham, Brighton etc.

I don’t think your argument stands up to scrutiny.
Earlier in the season we played deeper, more entrenched with the same siege mentality that got us promoted …. But now for some reason we expect them to play like Man City.

What’s changed 🤷🏻

It looks like fans expectations. I am turning up to matches expecting us to roar them on regardless, but it appears most of us have got bored or deluded as to our true place.

Look at these possession stats at home this season
West Ham 37% ,
Brentford 54%
Villa 29%
wolves 41%
Everton 61%
Arsenal 35 m%
Bournemouth 43%
Mags 46%.
Leeds 43% ,
Man City 32% ,

That’s right during our purple patch we had more than 50% at home only twice. Strikes me we were pretty enthused back then playing West Ham with 37%.

Yes the team is not playing as well, but it’s indisputable that we are not supporting as well either.

It’s time the team and the fans regained its secret weapon. A never say die approach both on and off the pitch

Nowt to do with that man. I said fuck him as a joke. Daft **** piped up calling me a cockroach and I wouldn’t say that to Granit’s face. Obviously I’m never going to meet him. But I’d quite happily tell chewit gadgie he’s a ****. Will he tell me I’m a cockroach to my face?
What is going on here? What's all this about cockroachs?

How’s our away form so shite when we have some of the best away fans in the league. Going off fans make such a difference we should be in the champions league away form then 🤣 fans were f***ing class away to vale how’d we get beat of bottom of league wan man 🤣

The analysis purely relates to home atmosphere and home fans. The away fans have the never say die attitude we need at home. Would never criticise away fans .

To answer your question, because the opposition team and fans have a say in it as well, you do realise that

Was pretty poor mind people streaming out
Sends a message though

Our away fans are class.
Home fans are meh

If Xhaka was having a go he’s spot on. Thousands f***ing off 5 minutes before half time for a pint. You get to the 85th minute 1-0 down and thousands just strolling out and there’s 8 minutes injury time still left to play. Absolute garbage atmosphere again
