Having a moan at the fans in the East Stand late on. Was not a happy bunny today.

Don't blame him.

I've never left a match early in my life and I remember being stood at home to Walsall in March 1988 or whatever in the fog and the rain, who were bottom of the league and hadn't won away all season, and they're banging them in the top corner from 30 yards.

Today's football fans: special progressive fannies talking shite and can't wait for it to go to shite so they can get out of the ground and gan yerm to eat cress sandwiches and lentil soup. 'Country died somewhere around 1990.

Why is anyone surprised?

Even when we get forward and have a chance and miss, the fans are whining and moaning and it's toxic.

We should be showing encouragement but instead everyone would rather be miserable for some reason.

I get that it's hard when things are shit but the atmosphere feels like a relegation season at the minute.
It’s not toxic like. There are moans and groans and the odd daft shout but certainly not toxic.

We are bereft of success and nothing ever really seems to click. No Europe, no cups, nowt. Sometimes it just feels like it’s just a matter of time before we revert to type and then inevitably get relegated. We always feel a million miles away from the ‘next level’ and I wonder if this sometimes bleeds into the stands.

He's right in what he's saying. We need the fans to be 100% behind the team for the full game. Look what happens when that does happen, Coventry, Arsenal etc.

He might have gone about it in a different way, maybe a social media post after the match encouraging people to stay 'Till the End perhaps but you can see why he'd frustrated.

Agree with him. Everyone was all about til the end when it suited, but everyone has given up on it and it feeds through to the players.

We show ourselves as incredibly fickle at times like. Them up the road will delight and be waiting to post photos of empty seats on MOTD.

People’s excuses about why they leave early as as old as this forum, but strangely it seems when we’re holding on for a win people seem to stay.
