You reckon if Newcastle only had one game a week, we’d be in the same league position?

I’m looking forward to the ‘second season syndrome’ being rolled out soon.

Despite all of the above they will celebrate finishing above us (if of course that happens) like they’ve pipped Arsenal to the premier league.

They started the second season syndrome and wait until they have to sell all their best players as soon as it became clear their original hopes, relegated lowest points etc, weren’t going to happen

Out of the FA Cup by the way. £800m spent and still a distinctly average PL team who need a ‘reset’ according to many and a rethink in terms of strategy and recruitment. Different paths indeed.

I noticed that too. Of all their delusions, the one some of them spout about not caring about how Sunderland are doing is the least convincing. Maybe some young supporters who’ve only experienced Newcastle being at least a division above might just be a bit ignorant, but the rest of them know, and care. Quite sweet really.

I was just responding in kind, you all had lots to say when one of the best teams in Europe knocked Newcastle out. I was just interested in your thoughts on the mighty Port Vale destroying you :lol:
