Proposed 5,000 seat South Stand Extension

Sorry if these has been brought up elsewhere before....
But why is it 5,000 and not the 7,000 the North stand had?
Is it going to be slightly lower heght wisde with less rows? Are they not filling in the SW upper corner?
Or are there going to be a double decker row of boxes taking out 2,000 seats worth of space.

Not to be pedantic but the North Stand was 6,000 to take us from 42k+ to 48k+. The 49,000 capacity came later when they added extra seats across the back of the East and South Stands that sit on a metal structure, as opposed to the concrete terraces.

Should just put a larger version of Gillinghams away end on top of the South Stand that will satisfy demand for the time being and if it all goes wrong with results etc they can take it down.

As Hetty said, massive corporate on top of a trebled in size concourse iirc.

People keep saying this but while it might be desirable from a fan perspective it's never going to happen as it doesn't accommodate corporate having a view of the pitch.
