Jacob Bethell


On a day when there is little to celebrate, thank goodness for a bright note. Lots more to come from this young man. A remarkable innings and one of many to come I’m sure.
 
His first 3 centuries in his professional career have all come in international cricket.

In 3 different formats, against 3 different countries and in 3 different countries.

I doubt we've seen the like before scoring both your first FC and List A Centuries in international cricket. Let alone lobbing in T20.

The lad is a serious cricketer - his knock in the Sydney test was the best in the match, flawless and chanceless

Bethall just boarding the 23:50 flight from Ahmedabad to Ho Chi Minh City, sat in cattle class.

Might be off to Bali like my mate who will be doing NZ vs SA T20 series in a week after being at T20 World Cup (we bet on the cricket).
