The Echo are reporting that he's been recalled from Hebburn so the club can loan him to Boston in the National league for the rest of the season.

It's not a disaster for Ellborg to get a few games/experience now given how comfy we are so not a lot of pressure...you'd hope Roefs is match fit for the mags though!

There is no rumour. Regis said yesterday that a couple of players were possible doubts and would be assessed “late”.
Given Xhaka has just returned from and ankle injury, and someone nearly broke his ankle on Saturday, I thought (still think) it might be him.
RLB clearly isn’t giving anything away if the rumours regarding Roefs are true and he didn’t mention it yesterday when asked.

The new lad looks a similar profile and you wouldn't be surprised if he was our No 1 soon enough, so be nice to get a look at him.
Xhaka was fouled after about an hour and played on for about 15 minutes. Regis said they agreed he'd play 75 minutes prior to the game as he was lacking match fitness and his substitution was nothing to do with him being injured.
That's the facts. Anything else is pure speculation.
True, but it wouldn't be the first time he's kept an injury quiet if he was hurt. Mind, so he should, it's wrong that we "know" about Roefs being injured, and the only person helped by that twitter kid's post is his own ego getting a stroke.
I don't even know if it was the same ankle he was out with that got the bad tackle on? But if he was injured again it's highly unlikely he's going to play on for another 15 minutes.
Players try to play through injuries all the time. Obviously if it was REALLY bad he'd be off, but given we're only 3 days after the event I won't be at all surprised if he's out.
