Danny Welbeck

Becoming the most popular man in the game. Always seems upbeat, bug booming smile, interviews really well and still playing well.

In answer to the original question Neil Redfearn
Was Redfearn footballer of the year in his first season? Should’ve been.

Welbeck definitely one upping both having his best season at 35. They were a bit younger I think?

Reference was 33 i think but it was his first season in the top flight which made it more remarkable. Marsden could have been any age tbf he looked like he was in his late 40s every game I saw him
