Update regards Roger (not the owner )

A lot of people have messaged me asking for an update regards him being in a coma .
@mods can you merge this with my original thread please 🙏 (I can’t find it )

Here is the latest from his wife .

A little lost in translation.

Roger is lying more calmly. He had a good night and day behind the carpet. He is also responding well to the antibiotics. His breathing is now through his neck, which is doing him good. Now let's hope things are heading in the right direction.

Keep fighting Roger

Hoping for a positive outcome and good to hear things are improving.

I was lucky enough to meet Roger when I went to the Feyenoord vs Sampdoria friendly the year Sunderland played in the Amsterdam Cup pre-season tournament. A MLF with a big heart and very welcoming to all including new faces like me. Keep on fighting Roger.

Magic one for sure for this fantastic fella! All the very best Roger

Sorry I can’t find the original post .

Roger is finally allowed to leave the ICU this coming Monday! He is moving to the Neurology department. By now 20kg lighter and with no muscle left, but that is being worked on with the physiotherapist and speech therapist to get his speech going. Roger moves his left side well, but not his right. The right side might still come... He recognizes everyone who passes by and knows perfectly well what is going on. Because of this, he is a bit negative at times. We therefore speak to him positively and tell him that he MUST persevere. On to the next phase, full of optimism. X
