Jared Gillet

with good right. That decision is at the best, a disgrace. He should be demoted, but will just be "rested"
The decision is terrible but is that not what VAR is for? Rather than blame the ref, for what is a horrendous error, surely VAR steps in and rights a wrong. That's what's wrong with the referring system right now, VAR doesn't do its job, if anything it's making things worse.

He's a clown.
Incompetent, inconsistent, and egotistical.
He and the other clown that we had last week, Craig Pawson, are the two worst referees in the league.
How was a penalty not given, why was a red card not shown and why was eight minutes added and he played 12?
I can understand why he missed the handball for the goal, but not why VAR official didn't ask him to take a look.
Should be stood down next week and his performance acknowledged by PGMOL (or whatever they call themselves) as below an acceptable standard.

Im more annoyed with those in charge of var today. 3 big decisions they go horrendously wrong. I know its a hard job. But those decisions were clear cut. Just gross incompetence.

Both ignored it. And, the other three officials.

As the weeks role on marra i think it proves my point more that the job is obviously a lot harder than most footy fans think. Also think once people see the replay they judge the decision given on the various replays anx not the one time the official seen it

Just for clarity no excuses for var missing that penalty today

Your just being a Clown for the sake of being a clown. Fine line between corruption and incompetence, he was certainly crossing lines today.
