Season card - No Auto Renew

Just been to the ticket office, they confirmed an error of East stand prices. Price published Mon night was incorrect, price showing on your account is now correct, anyone buying Monday night will be contacted and charged the extra amount. Ask why no statement or apologies issued and was told not our department to do that 😕😕😕 make of this what you will. Poor PR.
Oh well, we knew it was coming and that's an 'easy' fix in some way unlike the ones that have been overcharged, especially those that will be completely unaware.

They did something good by offering the loyalty tiers as some clubs in the past have said "Like it or lump it" as they whacked prices up as they know other bandwagoners will buy the seats of those who won't renew. It's not worked as they planned but they could just hoy up the prices like I've done in the 3 tables for the 3 loyalty tier pricing. This will let people check they've paid the correct prices as there's a few on here but this is just a small percentage of the fan base so loads more will have been affected.

That's unless they can work out why people have been overcharged and contact them directly but is this even possible? Can they check everything as it could be based on people moving seats, having to create new Supporter IDs that lost previous history or maybe even moving age bands or something else that may well have affected fans being shown the wrong price?

@Mowgli

I've just done my mates and his grandson. Selected direct debit, uncompleted the mandate, but I don't think it has took it as installments. I think it will be a one off payment.
Have a look in their accounts and 'direct debit payments' and the payments for next are listed in there mate, if it has been set up properly.
Same here. My confirmation email says "direct debit" & the payment dates and amounts are shown in my SAFC online ticket account. 👍
Phew🥵 cheers mate.

I will do thanks. He has forgotten his password so I will have to do that first. It was just that my confirmation for the payment plan has the dates on, his, just the full amount.

This. Kids have been charged 2nd tier loyalty price as it should be the £165 + £1.50 fee. Have kids ever moved seats, changed Supporter ID, changed age band in recent years? Although not certain, these are possibly the reasons why the wrong renewal price has been shown.

Regardless you will have to contact ASKSAFC, go to ticket office or just wait it out until these incorrect prices are addressed by the club if you're in no rush to do it immediately.

They've automated the loyalty tiers to accoun
Thanks for that
Yours is right but u18 should be £166.50 if you have had full STs since first season back in Championship
Thankyou

Does anyone know roughly how much the club generated from season cards this season and what we’ll generate for next season with the increases? I’m sure the money savvy lads have had a look, must be hard to gauge with OAP, Adults, and different kid categories

Well if the average season ticket cost 550 (roughly) and multiply it by 38k season tickets we would generate circa 21 million looks like on average we have a 20/25% increase so would generate around an extra 5 million.

Going over now to find out why we are being charged noob and not uber prices
Someone said it's shut on a Wednesday but I can't confirm it myself as I can't be arsed to search so I'd just double check if I was you 😉

:edit: they were talking shite as I just searched and it's 10am to 5pm Mon to Fri.

I popped in the ticket office earlier to check if id paid correct price in U4. They were definitely open but there were only 3 people in, despite social media implying they would be beseiged by irate season ticket holders.

I'm in the red section oap renewed after June 1st does anybody know if £ 571.50 is correct thanks
I estimated £565 as it's usually within £5 depending on how the club round up/down to the nearest £5. So I would say yes it's correct as that £570 is a 4.6% price rise (£25 increase) and works out at £30 a game. It fits in with the other NEW season ticket price rises in the red sections if you look at the table below.

Here's the table I've got so far with around 65% of the tables complete. Hopefully people can work out where they should be and what the £ increase is and what percentage it is. The ones highlighted in grey I'm not so sure about as they're simply estimates based on the other prices around them. If anyone can provide the actual number for the grey figures then it can be updated.

The bottom 3 tables show the average price per game and you can see for UBERS adults it's £29 to £38, £30 to £40 for the 2023'ers and £32 to £43 for the NEW. Overall it may seem like a canny price rise for some, more so for the few in sections that have changed band, but compared to the Premier League prices then it's not that bad overall.

Especially when you consider we've been out of the PL 10 years so prices haven't gone up like they would have each season if we'd stayed in the PL. In the past some clubs have said "Like it or lump it" and whacked up prices. If the club did whack prices up nearer the NEW prices then given the ST waiting list, they know other bandwagoners will buy the seats of those who won't renew. That would generate similar revenue from potentially less fans but then empty seats to sell come match day and no need to look at a costly extension.

The club have looked after the loyal supporters by offering the loyalty tiers. They've just gone the wrong way around doing it. They could have just hoyed up a simple 3 tier loyalty price table given that whatever system they've used to group fans hasn't worked. This means some fans have either unknowingly paid more or potentially logged in, seen the price and didn't renew as they can't afford it and may possibly may not check again. The only way they'd know there was a mistake is the club contacting them or seeing what other people have paid and possibly seeing it mentioned on social media by other fans.

I doubt if the average cost of all season tickets sold is as much as £550. There are thousands of concession tickets that will bring in considerably less than £550.

Ive just renewed my 2 tickets £813 for adult and u22 which works out at £42.75 a game for both of us happy with that

So I have mine and the bairns on separate e mails, had my offer through for mine in one e mail but not the bairns. Can I get his renewal quote by just logging in? Mines gone up to 660. Wondering what his under 18 will be.

Just seen the graphics looks like his will be 180
Have until April don’t we to renew?

Had season tickets every season since league 1 with my 2 boys. Mine is saying £616.50, 15 year old £231.50 & 11 year old £131.50. We sit in SEC. Prices I'm seeing for others seem quite a bit less than mine, surely these aren't priced with the "loyalty discounted".

If anyone is in the same boat as myself & not showing the loyalty prices, I rang the ticket office today & they can see I've had season tkts with my boys starting in 2019, but no history of having a season ticket (2024/25) last season (which I did!! SEC)

I renewed in the NWU for the 2024/25 season but requested a move to the SEC. But for whatever reason, my history for last season is not showing!

I've had to find all emails from SAFC confirming my seat switch & confirmation of payments, screen shot them & send through the HELP ASK-SAFC. Madness that last seasons details are not showing at all.

Still none the wiser when the correct prices will be applied.

Aye you can log in and you should see it (maybe his account) and it should be £180 if you're a pre 2023 in blue section and April 11th is deadline I've seen mentioned.

It's too hard to work out given nobody apart from the club knows what percentage of STs are in which age band or which of the 3 different priced sections in the ground they are.

What exactly are you wanting in the number for? To see how much more we'll generate so we can spend it on players? If that's why then I can tell you now it, the increase in revenue (possibly 25%) won't even be enough to buy another Sadiki priced player that's for sure but probably enough for Roefs. Even the complete match day revenue wouldn't buy a Diarra.

It's not £550 average per ST, far from it as we have a large percentage of a younger fan base that drag it down. This is thanks to the size of the SOL and the club not pricing out kids trying to milk the fans for all it's worth like some clubs do.

When last in the PL, it was £370 for adult yellow sections (now £550) and £470 in red section (now £715) most expensive from what I can se. We got £10.8m for 41k fans which worked out roughly £262 per fan. It's that low due to the kids who were £69 and we have 1,000s of them. We were the cheapest per back in the Premier League. We got £14.9m season before from 43k but cup runs also affect match day revenue.

This season I'd have a guess at it being nearer £400 average per fan now so 38,000 would be just over £15m. That won't include the corporate in any way, nor the match day sales. I'd expect us to be well over £20m this season in match day, even nearer £25m and possibly pushing nearer £30m next season.

It's not the huge numbers that will allow us to buy numerous players but it will help in some way. In time prices will increase for sure

For anyone wondering what next season's increase might be like, this is the price and percentage rise if the UBERS had to pay NEW next season and bring prices more into line. The top left table shows how much £'s the increase would be and you can compare it to the right side which shows the increase this season. It's the same with the % with the bottom left being what it would be next season and what it was, bottom right, this season.

I can see the U22s/U18s/U14s are still some distance behind £'s wise when you compare this seasons renewal to NEW, but mainly in the red areas. That's simply because they're premium viewing seats so the club would prefer adults in them pay top dollar and kids in the yellow/blue instead which is understandable.

Will the club just bring the younger generation tickets into line with NEW next season or will the have another loyalty system next season? Increasing the young prices again by a lot may well price many fans out given the comments I've seen from those who were quoted incorrectly (especially the lad with 3 bairns).

The club know that even by increasing the younger generation tickets and losing fans, they've got ST waiting list and those people will be willing to pay the prices. Basically this has happened at many clubs and it's why the expansion is a better as it's keeps the younger generation coming to games. They're the fans who take the place of those who stop going at some point.
