He's not typical W.Indian fast but more seam and swing which is ideal for Riverside. Just hope Marley can find his old form. Couple of appearances from Stokes as a bonus.

I'm a little sceptical of the injuries -it happens too often. I think they don't fancy the cold and exaggerate the slightest niggle.Some,not all.

Still I'd rather have Woody playing with one good leg than Archie Bailey with two.
Is Woody at 35 year old capable of bowling serviceable fast medium 2nd division CC level without putting 2 much strain on his body? It's never going to happen because North will insist on his super signings.

I wouldn’t be putting any money on it
I do however have a genuine optimism (maybe totally mislaid mind you) that Stokesy will play a handful of games for us this year. Realistically, I don’t see any genuine reason why he can’t start the season and play the entirety of that first CC block, even if only as a batsman in some of the games - but I’m sure ‘Team England’ will come up with some reason as to why he doesn’t.
