Season card - No Auto Renew

Aye. Let's just ignore all of the issues other fans are having, I'm alright Jack.
He was like that before yesterday talking about as long as they keep prices low for long term season ticket holders hes not arsed about those who bought last season. Seems quite immature

That would make sense, and its not an issue, just would be helpful if the age bracket criteria was readily available!
I looked for ages last night as my friends nephew is 14 and we didn't know what age bracket he would be in next season. Couldn't find a thing anywhere. It's pathetic really, all this information should be easily available on their website.

We had different seats in the SEC for all the time in league 1 (block U11) then first season back in the Championship we moved to P14 NWU. These were all classed as the "concession prices" - moved back to the SEC last season in the Championship. Still continued our season tkts since first season in league 1. You'd of thought moving seats would not effect any loyalty pricing that we don't seem to be getting with the new renew prices. Frustrating.

You would like to think moving seats wouldn't impact the loyalty pricing, but maybe it does if the system doesn't pick it up for whatever reason - seems like a massive flaw if so, but might explain why you're seeing different prices to a few of us in the same section of the ground.

Might be worth dropping them a message on AskSAFC mate

No issues here. All simple

Well done David Bruce
Haway mate. It might have been OK for you but it's clear on this thread the club have dropped a number of bollocks.

Loads of people quoted lower prices than they should have only for the price to be adjusted overnight. Meaning people in the same sections have all paid different renewals.

Issues with people entering new age groups being unable to renew.

And then loads of people (including me) who it turns out didn't get their loyalty discount despite being a ST holder for years and years. I renewed not knowing my price was wrong, because the club didn't publish any prices and left it to the fans to work it out based on online forums. Now I've overpaid for my tickets by more than £50 and will.probably take time and effort at my own expense to get it out right.

Absolutely tone deaf comment from you, and I can only assume you did it to be purposely cunty.

Tbf that's a different discussion mind. I'd charge the hell out of new season ticket holders aswell, people who came through the hard times deserve some loyalty compared to the plastic fans who only turn up when things are going well.

Some will have also been overcharged and just paid regardless, oblivious that it should be cheaper given not everyone will know what it should be. You'd like to think they'll get notified about a refund but will they expect those who underpaid to pay the correct price as it's hidden in T&Cs?

There seems to be a 'simple' 3 tier loyalty pricing rather than the single table we usually see. This is the latest I had last night for the 3 tiers in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Could do with having this image pinned and realistically each fan should sense check what they paid against this as we simply can't trust the price on the website to be accurate.

Its really not hard to include a link to all the information to make the process as simple as possible for people within the emails that are sent out or the page on the website, yet they love to make it a challenge.

I doubt it. 99% of people always find the money somehow and SAFC (all football clubs) know that. That's why prices keep increasing. Not one person on this thread has said they aren't renewing even with the price rises.
Sunderland til I'm skint. I'm sure a fair few on direct debits will default on payments.

The FA need to step in and cap ticket prices. Clubs make enough money from other revenue streams.

Yeah that doesnt seem right if you've held them since then, mine in U12 are:

Adult: £551.50
U22: £261.50
U18: £166.50

Edit: Just seen you saw you'd moved seats, guess they have used that to come up with your price instead of how long youve actually had a season card for which is annoying as can't imagine it'll be that easy to get sorted for you.

I've asked the question mate, see what they reply with.

I get mistakes happen but the lack of a price list stops a lot from even realising there has been a mistake

Yeah I was looking for the same as my lad turns 14 in September.
Someone replied to me stating it was the age on Aug 1st this year that will count as their age bracket. That does ring a bell as something I've read before as well.

Also it ties in with the over 85 tickets they are offering as that clearly states age as of August 1st 2026

Aye you've been charged the NEW prices and got no loyalty applied at all for 3 age groups. You need to contact the club to get it sorted if you've already renewed.

Though if you haven't maybe just wait as they may sort it anyway within time and they maybe update fans in some way?

Really don't understand why they've not included price bandings alongside the loyalty groups for each part of the ground. I dont believe for one second each season ticket holder is getting individualised pricing down to the penny so there's really no reason to not do it.

I've seen it as it's 14 BEFORE August 1st so he's be in U18 band

:edit: it's in the T&C's

Which also links to the ASKSAFC article

Yeah, I've just left it for now mate. Sent a message to the ASK page, see what they come back with. Cheers.

If this is correct then I am being overcharged - I’m in the red area for the third year now so should be £750 according to this. However renewal coming up as £816.50. This is a 31.7% increase from my early bird last season (£620). May email TO.

Sunderland Ticket Office right now trying to sort everything 🤪 I'm sure everything will be aright in the end 👍

#TilTheEnd (it won't be sorted)
