It's lack of structure threw me for the first third. I really enjoyed it by the end but there's no way it needed to be 2hr 40m.
Thought it was a very decent little film. You're right, the performances were excellent.Rebuilding (2025) - 6.5/10 - Gentle drama about the aftermath of a wildfire on a cowboy and the local community. Nothing special and a little predictable but good acting and emotional at times.
Yes, still very watchable. I just meant it didn't stand out as anything exceptional but it had a good heart.Thought it was a very decent little film. You're right, the performances were excellent.

Thought on these? I haven’t seen either but they’re beeping on my radar.Lost Horizon 1937. Dawn Patrol 1930.
Both excellent, one minor gripe was I did find Lost Horizon got a little dragging halfway through. It may well of being I was just tired, it's 2hrs 15mjns in length so should probably have expected. I've got the 1938 version of Dawn Patrol also to watch, with Niven and Flynn. There is also a 70s version of Lost Horizon which I will watch at some point.Thought on these? Cheers for the thoughts. Sounds like my kind of thing. As does the 1938 one. Niven is always superb. Both excellent, one minor gripe was I did find Lost Horizon got a little dragging halfway through.
