Early leavers and final whistle on Sunday

It looks f**kin shocking, made worse by being on TV for all to see. It just gives ammunition to all the social media 🛎🔚 who love to run our club down.

It might be an issue at ever club, still looks rubbish

Two blokes sit behind me. Twist for 80 minutes every week and then get up to leave. Only seem to slag off anyone who played for us in the Championship too for absolutely nothing. Don’t recall seeing them there in L1 or the Champ. Tbh going to games in the Premier League is so much less enjoyable in so many ways, mainly down to entitled arseholes who only turn up when times are good.
Couldn’t agree more mate. I heard someone shout “it’s only f***ing Fulham, how are we not beating these, they’re shit” today.
I’ve no idea if he was a Johnny Come Lately as it was from a fair way behind me but I suspect he was with that nonsense

But if you were there till the end you wouldn’t see it on tv so why should it bother you?

Heard a whisper that the biggest price hike on season card renewals will be dished out to persistent early leavers 😉
That would be tremendous, if they had the tech to detect leaving the stadium and the time.

All those leaving with at least 15 minutes to play today. Players hadn't given up but over half our fans did, absolutely wank support.

Bet they weren't there when we were in Division 1. 🤷‍♂️
Think plenty of them were mate. The Roker End used to haemorrhage people then too. Don't get it and never will. Been going 48 years and haven't ever been out of the ground before the final whistle. Must be utterly shite for our players seeing their so called supporters f***ing off with a good 15 minutes to play. Shite fans, simple as that.

100% agree it’s a blight on our club. Created a big thread on it last season in the Championship.

Funny enough, when we’ve had 25/30k there the atmosphere has been just as good at games in League One etc without thousands streaming out and giving up on the lads

I've "been there" for donkeys years, so I do see it. Presumably you're also there to see it?

But I also know we're on the TV and I also see social media afterwards, which is populated with whoppers having a go at our support as if its the only place it happens.

I accept you'll always have people who, for good and bad reasons, leave games early. I've even done it myself on the very odd occasion, hopefully for a positive reason.

The difference is we're enjoying the best season for decades and it's happening every game and in big numbers. It's quite simply 💩.

I'd put money on the ones streaming out are the ones who jumped on the bandwagon again once we achieved promotion back to the PL. And will quickly lose their 'refound' love should we ever suffer a relegation.

People need to start calling it out in the ground and embarrass them.
