Same, first time this year I’ve early this season. Nice to be home in half an hour rather than sitting in traffic for an extra 45 minsI’ve stayed to the end most games, but soon as that 3rd goal went in I needed to leave and have a stiff wine
It does depend on the game state, for sure, but I think it’s easy to stay to the end when there’s a goal in it or we’re winning - it doesn’t really ask much of you as a supporter; it’s when that 3rd goes in and we’re all regretting our life choices that the support is tested. If we were losing 5-0 on a pisswet freezing midweek night and people were leaving early it’d be more understandable but it’s 4pm on a mild Sunday afternoon.I think a lot depends on the game situation too mind. A goal down when we’re pushing for an equaliser is different to 3-1 with that performance.
RLB said himself that the game was gone at 3-1.

Most premiershipWe have about 30k “hardcore” fans, the ones who turned up week in week out in league one.
The rest are just fair weather fans, they’ll turn up when the going is good but don’t expect them to hang around when the teams not performing.
Spot-on. I’d go a bit further and say 35k though. We have about 30k “hardcore” fans, the ones who turned up week in week out in league one.

I never usually notice it mate but today was like Grayson/Coleman era. It's not been so bad this season but today was shocking
Exactly small clubs taking the piss as we are renowned for it, show some backbone those who’s shuffle off home early FFSWe stayed until the whistle.
Quite a bit of "is there a fire drill?" from them and "you've seen the Fulham now f off home". Standard, I suppose.
But haway, barely anyone still there at full time.
Has the tramp granny bus dodger slagged off the fans yet?
Two blokes sit behind me. Twist for 80 minutes every week and then get up to leave. Only seem to slag off anyone who played for us in the Championship too for absolutely nothing. Don’t recall seeing them there in L1 or the Champ. Tbh going to games in the Premier League is so much less enjoyable in so many ways, mainly down to entitled arseholes who only turn up when times are good.Loads of toxic fuckers there today. Like I said earlier, argy bargy all over the concourse between fans.
The way one fella was going on in p12 was laughable
Look at all them early leavers in the North London derby.
The metro also goes South of the wear? The blokes next to me had to get back to Blackpool as they do every game and they didn't leave early either so what's the direction of travel got to do with Just a play in South siders vs Northsiders ….. but do and try and keep up …. Wooooosh ya basad![]()
