Nowt to worry about if you’re not using someone else’s number to take someone who doesn’t deserve to be there
Here’s the details of the phases for Forest.I’m on 81 and lose 23 in the cull. That’s going to put me in dodgy territory for next seasons Lower allocations I think. Depending on what those above me lose naturally
More the really small ones I was concerned about. But I’ll be doing most of the rest this season Anyway to be mid 60s next season hopefully. Here’s the details of the phases for Forest.
Phase 1 - 45 pts - 9 Sep (12.00 noon).
- Phase 2 - 30 pts - 10 Sep (12.00 noon).
- Phase 3 - 15 pts - 11Sep (12.00 noon).
You’ll be fine with 58 points ( plus whatever else you get this season).
The club should only do targeted checks on those they suspect are passing their tickets on. It’s unfair to inconvenience fans where they could potentially miss the first 10 minutes of a game because they have to go to the ticket office.Need to do way more than 10 ID checks a game like
If you're not targeted for suspicious activity then you're notified the night before that you've been selected. If you miss the first 10 minutes then it's more than just being selected for a ID check. The club should only do targeted checks on those they suspect are passing their tickets on. It’s unfair to inconvenience fans where they could potentially miss the first 10 minutes of a game because they have to go to the ticket office.
How do they suspect people though? Is it just people who are buying every single away game and have done for 3/4 seasons? Is it based on social media posts? The club should only do targeted checks on those they suspect are passing their tickets on. you could of course get to the ground a bit earlier and not hoy a tantrum when you arrive at 10 minutes to kick off. it's not as though a possible check is coming as a surprise to everyone. The club should only do targeted checks on those they suspect are passing their tickets on. Mixture of social media posts and data trawls for suspicious buying patternsHow do they suspect people though? Is it just people who are buying every single away game and have done for 3/4 seasons? Is it based on social media posts?
But what’s a suspicious buying pattern? Buying every game is literally the only suspicious buying pattern surely?Mixture of social media posts and data trawls for suspicious buying patterns
I don’t know I don’t work for the ticket office but I can think of a few.But what’s a suspicious buying pattern? Buying every game is literally the only suspicious buying pattern surely?
They map the Echo’s 91 amazing photos of fans to the seating plan. How do they suspect people though? Is it just people who are buying every single away game and have done for 3/4 seasons? Is it based on social media posts?
surely notThey map the Echo’s 91 amazing photos of fans to the seating plan.
They are now able to get a photo of the face linked to a seat number. They then link the sale of the seat to the Supporter ID. As they have this for every game it gives a very strong data archive.
Using facial recognition they can then run a comparison of faces recorded on each supporter ID over the games they have attended. If the faces don’t match that fog horn alarm goes off and they have a miscreant.
It’s probably the easiest way to condense the checks initially. Especially if a branch is under suspicionI'd be interested to know what % of targeted people travel with a branch. I'd expect it's quite high
Maybe the police should stop everyone on the A1 on a Monday morning for a breath test as well?Yeah checking 0.3% of attendees for a 3000 allocation is really going to deal with the problem
While I never have, I would fancy the odds of getting away with selling my ticket with that level of checks
What's surprising is that 70% of the tickets selected for checks at a game were apparently being used fraudulently.Maybe the police should stop everyone on the A1 on a Monday morning for a breath test as well?
Its a small sample but its also a deterrent as if you are selling a ticket on every game you will get caught eventually.
I don’t know I don’t work for the ticket office but I can think of a few.
Stuff like - adding random people to their friends network for one off games etc? Could think of loads of others. Easy to search out patterns like that with database software, the system does it, you don’t even have to think of the scenarios.
Remember they are only checking, if the person isn’t doing anything dodge that’s fine - they don’t need to be sure someone’s doing wrong as it’s not an accusation. - quick check and if it’s passed all good. It’s just a way of making it likely to be more effective than a completely random pick.
I thought it was one game (Man City) where 70% of the randomly selected did not go to the ticket office. Might include a few that didn't travel for some reason. What's surprising is that 70% of the tickets selected for checks at a game were apparently being used fraudulently.
