Spark FM currently playing Camel Island and the dj has just said there's going to be plenty of Sunderland bands on at the Radio One weekend event.

Well... Unexpected interval at Pop Recs atm, one of the Getdown Services lads has been deafened by feedback in his monitor (it did sound horrific, mind)

Gig got cancelled - mid-set, gutted!
Whatever happened with this. Did it get rescheduled or did they say they would. Just started getting into them

He was brilliant and plays guitar and sings really well.

Not sure what he talks about when playing other cities, but his stories about gigs in Newcastle, a pop superstar visiting Witherwack, and Castle View School were class.

Doubt I’ll make it, but out Saturday afternoon at a christening. Spitting Vicars could be a go-er
That name reminds me of when I first started going out. There was some novelty club band who wore fez hats, one of them played a sax and they used to jump into the audience. Think they played at the Edward Thompson annual bash at the Mayfair.
@Keith S30S or @The soap powder help me out here.
