Noah Sadiki

Been brilliant this season and considering he was relatively unknown when we signed him he’s more than exceeded expectations but i do think fans need to pump the brakes and linking him with 60/70M moves to likes of Chelsea and Man Utd etc

Last two games have shown he’s way off that level, Rice ran all over him last Saturday and Gravenberch gave him abit of a football lesson last night he couldn’t get near him. This isn’t a dig at Sadiki in the slightest because i think he’s probably been in our top 3/4 performers this season but like mentioned above he has a hell of alot of development and improvement to make before any of the big boys will come calling. Considering the position he has played mostly this season in that inside left role advanced of Xhaka he will have to add more attacking numbers to his game interms of goals and goal involvements but i really think fans need to slow down on some of our players and linking them with big moves after 20 games

I think because of how easy xhaka makes the game look its easy to look past that he covers the same or sometimes more ground than sadiki. Having that taken away from your central teammate is hard to adapt to, because you are already flat out, cannot get as tight as maybe you would like to and are knackered trying to cover what xhaka did. Plus the loss of organisation.

Doesn't help he's playing a different role and we lack strength, height and presence in central midfield. Both Sadiki and Le Fee are canny players, but at the moment and apart from Burnley who were shit - they shouldn't be playing that role together.

So you’re basically judging him playing 0ut of position, against two TOP sides, probably carrying an injury in one of them? Jesus!

He’s absolutely fine when he’s got players in the correct positions around him. He’s doing the work of 2 men because Xhaka is missing and Hume is f***ing about on the right wing. It’s the most obvious thing in the world

Anyone can see he’s not suited to the holding midfielder role. We massively miss his pressing further up the pitch.
He isn’t a number 6 at all like. Fulham don’t press the ball and yet We had Sadiki playing between our centre halfs getting the ball, Literally doing a job that wasn’t needed. Sadiki is a good player but like i said when i started this thread he’s miles away from 60/70M player that’s spoken about. Id be very suprised if any team came in for him in the summer he’s still got alot of development to do before big clubs come calling
