Only seen him play well once, and that was in Euro 2024. No doubt he’ll show up for the World Cup in a few months

He’s on around £200k a week at Spurs apparently… stealing a living
 

The fact he walked away from Barcelona at 16 to go to PSG and never get a game and fail tells you all you need to know about his mindset.
 
Watch alot Bundisliga he was quality for Leipzig only left because he wanted to play champions league football.

Hasn’t worked for him at Spurs yet but he’s playing in a poor poor Spurs side that make sweeping changes week to week and have a horrible atmosphere around the club at present, Lamine Yamal would struggle there this season.

Theres a reason no top club wanted to sign him. His last 3 clubs have been PSV in an awful eredivisie, leipzig who aren't even playing in Europe currently and now Tottenham.

But he was outstanding for Leipzig for them 2 seasons. Played well for Holland in the last Euros. He’s 22 year old he got plenty of time he’s still a baby in football terms. He hasn’t had a great season but nobody at Spurs had. Micky Van Der Ven was arguably the hottest CB last summer but he’s been dreadful this campaign. Palhina was outstanding at Fulham got big money move to Bayern came on loan to Spurs and looks a shadow of himself. No player would look good playing at Spurs this season

When was the last time they played for a manager there? Postecoglou? Conte? Nuno? Mourinho? the last one that seemed to get them playing well was Pochettino

Because one has a reputation for bringing through academy footballers, giving them a chance and making them stars. The other was just throwing money at players. It was a shocking move at the time and hindsight backs that up.
 
About 3 or 4 times in the first half Spurs won the ball back and were on the counter and he either lost possesion, was pushed off the ball, bottled a header etc and the mags got it back :lol:

It’s difficult to judge any single player at spurs as collectively they look abysmal. I watched the lad Gallagher when he went over to Atlantic Madrid and he was great there and the fans absolutely adored him and now he looks like he is also rubbish. The problems run deep at Spurs who if aren’t careful could sleepwalk into the drop zone.

Can’t have been that great seeing as he spent the entire season on the bench for them.
