ID checks for away tickets

both.

basically if your 'in' with the branch then you get tickets, regardless of the points you on.

SAFC have had a number of complaints about this certain branch over time and one of their own members dropped them in it when the ticket wouldnt work and went to the ticket office only to be hit with 'where did you get this ticket from, its not under your name'
Shields branch

I strongly suspect any ID check no shows will be pulled again next match and so on.

I also strogly suspect the hope by people who at the moment cannot get tickets won't change as the number of people proven to be passing tickets on is way smaller than they think and even then those tickets would go to people on 35-49 pts instead.

This clamour to remove the current system is basically because the people who went to loads of games when we were shite are still going.

Probably players tickets mate. Wife and two young uns.

This already happens. I got picked for Man City, which I missed because I was ill. Got done again at the next match I went to, which was Brighton. I was at that game, and haven't been checked since.
I am not sure there is a mechanism but I would suggest contacting the ticket office and telling them in advance that you cannot get there. Otherwise they will pull your loyalty point and possibly put you on the suspect list for future ID checks.

They'll do that anyway. I told them I wouldn't be at Man City (they were still notifying you then), and they still pulled the point. What I don't know is whether they're only doing this for the random checks, where you have to pick up a new ticket from the away ticket office.

So how does it work with branches in phase 1?

I know they get the 40 ringfenced tickets etc. but do they have access to everyone's account and then can they go on and download tickets?

If, for example, they used someones number to get a ticket for someone who wasn't eligible would they need full account access for that account to download and pass on the ticket?

Do they get 40 ring fenced, I was led to believe they are allowed to make one application for any members seasons cards that have the requisite number of points at phase 1

After that they have to apply as anyone else does for anything in phase 2 onwards

Not sure as to how it works with linked accounts/downloads etc.

All European club away games have been 100% collections for a good few years now mate

i might be wrong but i imagine once a club has been in europe for a season or two, that it'll be quite easy for ST holders to get tickets for european away games in far flung countries.

i mean our phases go down to 20+ points regularly and thats for one of 19 games in this country.

the logistics of doing a european away game would put 100s off, you'd have to quite wealthy and have loads of time off work to do multiple games.

i reckon we'd have loads of them go down to zero points, which almost irradicates the issue of people passing on tickets (other than those without STs of course, but some could even go to general sale)

Think they get a code to go on early and allocate tickets to each persons account who has the correct number of points for phase 1 up to maximum of 40 tickets

Branches are no different to any other fan in regards to tickets.

Yes, 40 seats are ring fenced in phase 1 (makes no difference other than being able to get the branch up to 40 sat together).

Ticket links are uploaded to the individual supporters ticketing account so they'd need to log in to access the link.

So I assume there must be an element of trust there if tickets are being passed on that the person will get the link and pass on?

Well this is just bollocks.
Really?

Yes mate
For the regular clubs in Europe the thought of “same old , same old” will put a fair few off . Combine that with the old AL and it opens the door for a good few as you say

Yes, I've been all over with spurs and never had to pick up there.

Fiorentina, juve, Dortmund and Barcelona.

name sometimes printed on ticket but they were handwritten so just wiped off with a baby wipe.
