James Milner

Seaham Towny

Striker
On the verge of equalling Gareth Barry’s all time Premier League appearance record of 653 games.

Tremendous achievement, and a very good player we can all agree.

I’ve just seen that Barry, minutes wise, has played the equivalent of 4 more seasons.

Surely the latter is the better accolade? Or does Milner eclipse him given the difference in era’s, more clubs, more trophies, played further forward when he was younger?

Oddly enough they both have an Intertoto Cup on the CV…

Any clubs going down this season they should be looking at him when season is over good player to recruit in championship

Barry was very underrated . Spent far too long at mid table villa. Handsome bastard aswell

By who? He got a couple of big moves and played consistently. Do you mean he didn't get enough plaudits? I always thought he did the basics well but was very slow, and was rarely the difference in a match.
