Brobbey

ONly thing missing from last nights performance was a goal. If not for that save it would have been a perfect centre forwards performance.

His hold up play is immense and allows Diarra to break into the box for him - class combo.

If he can add a touch more composure in front of goal then we've got a frightening player. His hold up play is some of the best I've ever seen

I've said it a million times he's perfect for us, loads want an upgrade, loads don't realise just how good this lad is
I think he’s brilliant. We don’t create a lot of chances but his overall game involvement is superb. Lads a human wrecking ball. We need another who can play with his back to goal imo. Not as a replacement but to give us the option to keep playing the same way when he tires. We have the off the shoulder strikers but we look so much better with a Brobbey type up top.

Surely his air shot counts as another assist for Talbi’s goal

Never looks happy , don’t think I’ve seen him smile yet.

He’s an absolute brute of a player , just glad he’s on our side.
Love a good snarl me!

It'll come I reckon. He's a bit eager on the chances he gets atm. Not exactly snatching at them but not letting it happen naturally. The 2 worldies he's scored have come when he hasn't had the time to think and instincts have taken over.

I've seen enough to know that he's going to be a top player in this league.

He's been feeding on scraps a lot of the time this season.

Creating chances for him is one area we need to improve and I'm sure we will. Once we up our creativity he will be able to relax.

He has played a thankless task in some matches where he might get one half chance but I'm sure RLB and the team will rectify it. Its still a learning process and I keep forgetting its practically a new team who have gelled very well already but with much more to come.

He’s become one of my favourite players and he has the intelligence you normally see in much older centre forwards in the way he positions himself against defenders.

I’ve not noticed a turn of pace like he showed in that clip either before, unless that defender was deceptively slow

There were a few times last night when me and me mate were just stood in the South Stand laughing at watching the Burnley defenders trying to get the better of him, even resorting to using arms and fouling - and still comfortably coming off second best  . He’s an absolutely tremendous signing.

Showed a good turn of pace with that run down by the East Stand in the second half as well.

I am not a fan. I get what he brings, but he just isn't for me.

He can shut me up every single game, though, with goal contributions and making defenders nervous.
I know what you mean, I had to get my head round having a massive strong lump up front, not the fashionable type of PL forward at all. But of course I came round with the goals and the realisation that while he leads with strength, there’s a lot more to his game than that.

The world's greatest 5-a-side team? I'm going Gordon Banks, Franz Beckenbauer, Johan Cruyff, Leo Messi and big Brian up top, back to goal playing Messi and Cruyff in. I'm convinced he could do it on a cold Tuesday night at Crowtree.

It was funny when the camera cut to the Burnley centre half after he fouled him in the second half and he just looked helpless and in despair like what do I do if he backs in haha

It's mad, I appreciate he was an absolute colossus last night, and how unplayable he was, but he has to walk away with at least 1 goal from his 3 big chances.

Maybe I just need to accept and appreciate that he will contribute to more goals than he scores and that's ok. If he could finish I guess a few more clubs would have stood up and took note.
