Geertruida

Could potentially changd tge right hand side around. Mukuele was awful laat week though. And the smallest player on the pitch got goal sode of him and beat him in the air. He has a lot of credit in the bank but it doesnt really seem fair that everyone is dropping hume after a terrible game and mukiele gers away with it.
Only cos Hume let his man run off him and get a free jump against a standing mukiele

Yeah it was Hume letting the lad go, Mukiele didn’t do much wrong positionally

Tbf the two attackers switched/blocked each other which meant staying tight and goal side of Summerville was nigh on impossible

I'm confident the club read mine and a few other posters criticisms and realised they shouldn't let him go. It was obvious the club was open to the move this morning, then changed their minds.

I think one of the posts that made them think twice is when I said we shouldn't get a reputation of being pushovers, who will let any player leave when a club comings knocking, or else they'll be unsettling our players all the time.

I said we should raise the compensation demands and this might have also put Liverpool off.
Please never change

I'd argue that the neither Reinildo or Mukiele had any support from the wingers defensively last week. Last week was a lesson, but we can't dwell on it. That was the first game Nordi hasnt been at the races all season.

Interesting Liverpool sources saying the same. I'm surprised that this is the case given our model, which presumably means we wouldn't stand in a player's way if a champions League type club came in ?
It's a bit different when we done own him and have nothing to gain. I assume if we had a replacement lined up and had the opportunity to make he loan permanent then sell him to Liverpool ourselves he'd be at anfield now (suspect this might be the case at the end of the season if they still want him).

Will have to hope he stays motivated and plays well

Dear me, complete parody

I think the key difference here are:

He’s not our player, so it’s not use blocking his transfer for a fair fee (I think we’d have sold him if we’d owned him and Liverpool bid a fair amount

Liverpool only wanted a 6 month loan. So there was little incentive for us to give up our loan on him. It’s not like he was getting a new club and deal

I’d be pissed of watching Hume pretend to be a CM. Not a pop at Hume-just doing what the manager asks. Didn’t work under Mowbray either. Mental that he isn’t featuring and it’s crackers we don’t seem keen making this one a permanent deal.

Hume had an awful game but RLB pointed out it's not the first time he'd played him in that role in that system, previously to some success.

It shows how many fans actually watch what is going on on the pitch. As you've pointed out it wasn't the first time he's slotted into midfield and it's more fluid than people suggest, he wasn't CM the entire first half.

He hasn't been playing CM
