Brobbey

People forget he’s 23 man, they talk about that strand lad as a young player he’s nearly two years older than brobbey. He’s an animal and the perfect fit physically for the premier league. He’s will score more this season and with a full preseason and hopefully some more creativity coming in he will score even more next season.

18 appearances but has only started last 9 games, which arguably have been the weakest team lineups without Afcon lads, he definitely settling in and improving game on game.
looking like he will get double figures which would be an excellent return in his first season.
Funny as he exactly what Saudi United need upfront compared to the 125 million
Nick n Wissa, (Rodney n Delboy)
think we got the better deal 😎 could be the 20 goal a striker every good team needs.

You would be far happier if we had another forward playing up there with him rather than any of our goal shy midfielders and wingers.

Le Fee gets in and around him, and it works, but yeah maybe he needs someone else a bit closer to him. Diarra might transform him?
What don't you like about him?

It’s probably his untidiness, and he looks knackered after one run. I get that he does a lot right in terms of hold-up play and making life difficult for defenders, but it never really looks natural or controlled.

His finishes have been decent when he’s scored, but overall I don’t think he’s a good finisher either. I know he’s not just there to score goals, but he’s missed some guilt-edge chances that I’d expect a centre forward to put away. That’s probably what frustrates me most, however, he is bringing stuff to the table so I am not going to be shouting from the rooftops to drop him or anything.

True, Van Persie, Overmars, Van Nistelrooy, Bergkamp, van Dijk, van der Sar, Gullit, Wijnaldum, Zenden, van der Vaart, Ake, Melchiot, Boateng, Stam ….. all performed below par
There was alfonso alves scoring like 40 goals yet looked like he couldnt kick a ball still makes me smile . Unfortunately we had Jozy

At the moment he's un-droppable, we have nobody near good enough to give us what he provides but we do need to alter the tactics to get the best out of him. I suspect Le Fee and Diarra are the 2 who will be encouraged to both feed him the ball and feed off him.

What I like about him is he will be a nightmare for absolutely any defender to deal with just due to his physicality alone. No body will have an easy game against him

It’s a tough job playing upfront on your own for us and the way we play. And he’s doing very well and improving with each game. Even if he keeps improving I think we need better other attacking options in the squad and ideally someone who could play upfront alongside him. Having the option to play 2 upfront if we ever want or need to would give us a different dimension.

He's built like a bull and he will bum you
Brian Brobbey, Brian Brobbey
Doesn't matter how big you are he'll bott you
Brian Brobbey, Brian Brobbey

Not in a sexy way. He reverses his arse into people doesn't he?
Vic Halom, Vic Halom, Vic Halom la la la la la la.
Or, does he more resemble Trevor Ford ... that was before my time, and I don’t think there was a song about him.

You know what’s mad there was a few chances early in jozys time here I’m sure if he’d had scored a few of those his time here would be different. The longer it went on the more it got into his head. He always looked a confidence player.
