Geertruida

Absolutely! It's a balancing act as having a good rapport with clubs like Leipzig and Liverpool can only benefit Sunderland and given that the player isn't a regular starter then it seems to me it would be better in this case not to play hard ball.
Still waiting for us to get some benefit out of the Guiu scenario though 😂 we probably called it a day at some extra cash.

They don’t have a fit RB. Strangely I think he’ll play more for them than he would for us
Wasn't he also the captain under Slot at Feyenoord? So the player will obviously know what he's getting himself into. They also have a large Dutch contingent.

Well yeah, but we’re missing players so may not be able to do it. As I say, it worked fine against Palace. Don’t hamper our attacking play at all. So not ideal, but hardly an affront.
I can understand it in certain games.. Burnley at home with Diarra fit I'd find it overly cautious

He has had plenty of game time with us. If he goes to Pool on loan he’ll be rotting on the bench.
He's never been first choice and hasn't played lately, he was playing u21 the other Wednesday, now this could be the result of this potential transfer but ironically he could play more at Liverpool which might sound like a ridiculous thing to say

Which is what some people arent grasping. This move depends solely on what WE want to do. Is it great for squad harmony to have a player who maybes wants to be somewhere else? No. But at the same time we cant be seen to look like a soft touch.
Tell Liverpool we will do it but we want Curtis Jones til end of season, jobs a gud un.
